Here are the steps to make a sock coin purse. It is important to follow all the steps to make the final result of the project just right. The first step is to get all the materials together and then lay the sock on a flat surface and smooth it out with the foot part facing upward. Remember that this will be the front of the coin purse. Place the straight ruler on the toe, and measure 6 inches from the toe. You may want to make a small mark where it measures 6 inches, then cut across through the thickness of the sock. Then use ruler and go down 2 inches from the top of the sock. Cut along the sides 2 inches down on either side of the sock. This will give you a small sack with two 2 inch flaps on both front and back. On the front part of the sock cut the first 2 inch flap off leaving only the one in the back. Then cut 2 pieces of lace trim for the front and the remaining flap. Pin 1st piece of lace to the front of the sock and the 2nd piece of lace to the flap.

Next, use the blind stitch to attach the 1st piece of lace to the front of the sock use the same stitch to attach the lace to the flap. Then open the flap and make 2 marks where each piece of the snap will go on the coin purse. Then sew each snap over the marks of where the snaps will be placed. Next will be sewing one decoration or flower over the snap stitching. The last flower or decoration will be placed in the center of the flap and sewn there. Now your coin purse is complete.  So next time you have a sock and a few hours of time you will know what to do.

You would need a small non plastic juice container, a scissors, a stapler and Velcro (self adhesive) to make this coin purse. The steps are as follows. Start with cutting the bottom part of your juice box. Make sure the juice container is rinsed properly and thoroughly. After that, let if dry at least for one hour. Now fold the bottom of the juice box in upward direction about 0.25 inches. After this, staple this fold closed. It reseals the bottom of your juice box. Again fold the juice box in a horizontal direction. This time the bottom should touch the top.

At last, place the strip of Velcro along the below side of the lid which is at the top of the box. Take a similar strip and paste it on the top side of the folded portion of the juice box. The last step is to attach these two prices and that is it. Your coin purse is completed. You can easily make the eco-friendly coin purse by following the above mentioned steps.
